A hint of oaky taste. A nice sweet and sour with a smooth finish.

Light ruby in color.

On the nose, plums, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and eucalyptus.

Medium bodied with low acidity.

Off dry on the palate with dark berries and mint.

Short finish with flabby tannins and alcohol on the back of the throat.

Drinkable but not recommended.

13.5% alcohol by volume

This has been a joy to drink. Paired it with a medium rare tenderloin steak and it has been fantastic. I am routinely impressed my the pairing of a good red and steak. But this one paired well. Regardless of the pairing; this wine would be perfect even by itself. The drink ability isn't hindered by the pairing or not. The wine is absolutely great by itself. The is virtually no acidity. No bad creep up on indigestion. The flavor is good and tasty especially through the entire bottle. It has been a joy. I feel great and that's probably the wine talking. Smooth and tasty and no acid. No indigestion. Decently smooth flavor (at least enough to tide you over until the buzz sets in) and more of a dryer wine. An absolute steal at $4. A bottle in at this moment and I'd go for another bottle.

This is my first bottle of wine in approximately twenty years. The taste was tart and I will be giving this bottle away.
