Headpruned Block Syrah

Dark fruit, savory notes, still tannic but balanced by the fruit and some solid acidity.

Inky in color, anchored in the soil in which it was raised. Minerals, wet earth and blackberry preserves. Crunchy tannins come clean for a long gripping finish.

Great aromas on this #russianrivervalley syrah, not quite cool climate, but this is no overblown fruit bomb. Balanced, some nice tannins to catch you attention.

Gave this a long decant. It’s in a good place. Has the structure to last a long time.

With a solid decant this is pretty accessible. Dark fruit over a solid structure. Tannins grip on the finish. One of my favorites in the LL lineup.

Prune, acid, dry, hidden jewel grape. Que syrah syrah.

Big ripe blue fruits, rich umami all over, light feathery tannins, bright acid

Holy plum batman! Big jammy dark fruit, little oxidation / stewed tomato. Peppery mid+ tannin finish.

Red fruit muted behind alcohol and tannins.
