Picked this up along with several other wines suggested by my local wine merchant as a potential "light summer white". While this may be an excellent melon (never had a Melon or Muscadet before), it certainly wasn't the light and refreshing summer white I was looking for and was not something that would be obviously good to pair with food (though I'm not a shellfish fan either). In any event, not heinous but not for me.
