It’s basically opaque in the glass. On the nose it’s full of black cherry and berry, with a hint of anise and a certain freshness. In the mouth it’s juicy, moreish and darn right delicious 😋

Rich, dark-fruited Barossa Shiraz, this is solidly balanced with OK balancing acidity, long finish, very good, but shows just a trace of heat (14% ABV) which sticks out more to me because the fruit is a little overripe, solid Shiraz.

Nov 16th, 2025Rich, ripe blackfruited Barossa Shiraz, while listed at 14.0% ABV, the fruit definitely tastes much riper, medium-long finish, solid Barossa Shiraz with a little age on it.
