A bit of a “barnyard” fragrance...with hints of dark berry and raisins.
Drinks unexpectedly smooth, with flavors of earthiness, dried dark fruit, cola and spice. Finishes less smoothly with spice.

Decanted for an hour. Very good and still young. Blackberry, spice, leather, tobacco and oak on the palate. Perfect with steak

Tasting both the 06 from decanter after 4 hours and freshly opened. The vineyards are at least 100 years old....outstanding balance and concentration....how is this possible. sub 75 and worth every penny
