Lewis Cellars
Race Car Red Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a great Cabernet Sauvignon from Lewis Cellars.
Full bodied, smooth and elegant.
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, is showing lots of vanilla and chocolates notes.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. Delicious by itself as a sipping wine.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
$50.

Enjoyed this. Better after it breathes. Smoother. Dark berries. Not sweet. Not sharp or bitter. Just right. Yum.

Restaurant pour. No time for full notes, but …
Balanced. Cassis and black olives. Fine grained tannins. Great! Almost…French. 😀 92-93. Quite a surprise.

Surprisingly good out of the bottle without decanting. Like a race car of flavor doing donuts on my palate. Bit much? Sure.

Rich and dense but not heavy, with loads of candied dark fruits and vanilla. A bit too extracted and sweet for my palate.
Quite approachable already.

Lots of dark fruit. Not a lot of complexity. Decently long finish.
