Color: crimson, deep reds, with a beet water meniscus, nice purple hues while aerating and swirling
Bouquet: amber clouds of roses, a deep perfume of carrots, ginger, blood oranges, beets (a mix of both vegetal and citrus fruits).
Notes: solid backbone and body of a berry medley, bright with a zip of citrus fruit, nicely tannic, not overpowering, very fresh with an aftertaste bite of cherry jam, balanced with a good tart astringency
Overall: wonderful wine with a bit of west wing, can’t argue with the well-balanced structure, forward fruitiness, and surprisingly complex bouquet, almost vegetal (in a good way), very earthy, light mouthfeel that carries taste through every corner of your palate
