Mozambique ruby, medium-bodied red blend. Smells like crushed lilacs and wet gravel. Tastes like crushed red raspberries were mixed with shredded mountain mint and hit with fresh cracked black pepper, then drizzled with bourbon barrel aged maple syrup on the finish. Enough grip to pair with a fatty grilled steak, but delicate enough to drink with your current book. Drank slightly chilled. Unfiltered Côtes du Rhône (Grenache, Syrah, Carignan).

Sep 16th, 2019Wine is light-bodied, with cherry, lemon, tarragon, and stiff tannins on the palate. I would drink at cellar temp or below. We had it with Neapolitan-style mushroom pizza and it was a great pairing. For $12 this is a great weekday wine.

Aug 31st, 2019Over the hill! Clearly not built to age.. verging on balsamic, tannins have fallen out. Interesting to try though.

Feb 21st, 2017Delicious leathery, blackberry notes. Guessing grenache-based with some syrah as well? Great value.
