So freaking delicious and a steal to boot! Dark red fruits and spice galore with a medium body, med+ intensity, and a long finish. Everything you want in a characterful and soulful southern Rhone red! Across the Rhone river from Chateauneuf grown in galet soils. Vines are 40 years average. Aged in concrete tank for 10-12 month. 58% Grenache, 32% Syrah, 3% Carignan, 3% Cinsault, 2% Mourvèdre, 2% Counoise

The tannins were stronger than I anticipated, but still a good CDR blend. Tasted notes of plum and blackberry. Nice color

Fruit forward and interesting; combination of 5 varietal’s. Splendid

Delicious little wine. With a fine balance of fruit and a little structure. Wonderful nose. 15.99 at WH. Would definitely get more again.
