Cepage Rare Pays d'Oc Mourvedre

Excellent example of the ‘garrigue’ characteristic prominent in many rustic Languedoc reds. Perhaps lacks some of the subtle complexity of better GSM blends but still very enjoyable.

Nice to try this variety on its own as it is usually blended with Grenache and Syrah in a GSM mix. Bold and well structured, at first somewhat restrained but after an hour or so it open up to a luscious, juicy very drinkable Wine. I’m a fan.

Very easy to drink, flavorful, dry fruits, but not dry or too heavy. Would definitely by again.
