Really impressed with this bottle. Lots of fig and black berry and mulling spices in a seamless delivery. Wood and liquorish on the finish. Seems more concentrated that 14% listed, but still racy on the finish. Great mouth feel, not quite slutty, just right. Polished and complex overall, but is in need of a bit more structure.

Hefty dark fruits on this one, predominantly figs and stewed plums, with some of the spicy character resembling the crackly herbaceousness of fig seeds on the tongue. Leathery tannins wrap these like a blanket of sophistication, leaving the wine full and fruity but excellently balanced. Wonderful Syrah.
