Jun 28th, 2016I guess we got stuck in Bordeaux this weekend. This time Pauillac. I took the picture against our granite counter top because that was what the wine reminded. Earthy minerals, graphite mixed in with dark dry fruit drippings. Classic Pauillac. Just the best with ‘Idaho Grown’ french fries. 😁

Apr 14th, 2020I first tried this back in Jan, 2017, and gave it an 8.6. Time has certainly smoothed off its earlier edges. That said, I was hoping for something a tad more grand given its pedigree and the extra time in bottle. I believe its pretty well landed with a drinking window of 4 to 5 years. (The latest vintage is priced at just over $50. Your call.)
