Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Very fruity and nicely structured.

Second label from Pichon Baron. Wanted to see what the 2015s were like without popping one of my long haul bottles. Dark fruits and a hint of licorice but sleek and fresh. Highly drinkable for a young Bordeaux.

Strong.

(16.5/20) Насыщенный аромат с нотами крем де кассис, спелой вишни, молочного шоколада и сладких специй. Свежая кислотность и лишь чуть вяжущие танины. Концентрация во вкусе немного отстаёт от аромата. В целом, весьма приятное вино.

No doubt one is drinking Pauillac. A tad youthful at this stage. A few more years should see an extra one or two tenth percentage points.
