A very smooth Chinon Cab Franc. A bright pale red in the glass, I was sensing subtle hints of green pepper on the nose with some playful blackberry, cassis and violet on the palate. I enjoyed this wine with a fabulous burger at Toronto’s outstanding Aloette restaurant. How do you say a “magnifique” pairing!?
