Steve Lutz the winemaker is spot on in that the 'off' years in the Yamhill/Carlton AVA are turning into gems. Dark cherry, strawberry and subtle tobacco with a strong backbone. This wine can definitely continue to sit but is really shaping up to be a special vintage and delicious now.
