An interesting burger wine. It’s got lots of interesting components but is lacking depth of flavor. It’s got almost sweaty minerality, intense cracked stones, and violets in the nose. Great acids and minerality in the mouth. Finish is short.

Aug 16th, 2020So primary right now. With air, aromas of dark, tangy boysenberry and sharp cracked rock dust. Very Saint Joseph-like granitic minerality, but with sharper, more direct and tangy purply fruit. Great acids. Very intense flavors packed into a lean, athletic body. In a couple of years I bet this will be quite different, but still dang tasty now. Great value.
