A ruby red, the '10 Lemelson Pinot Noir 'Thea's Selection' is light-bodied, but richly flavored with cherry, tea and vanilla with lime-scented red raspberry aromas. Light and spicy, this matched extremely well with my grilled salmon. Peppery notes developed in the extended finish.

Fruit sources from 7 organic vineyards over 3 AVA’s, Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits and earthy spices. On the palate youthful flavors of cherry and black raspberry, cacao, tea and licorice notes with elegant spice. Fine rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, cedar and earthy mineral notes. Good value!

Rich, deep pinot from Willamette. Nice tension. Reminds me of Tensley, for some reason. Probably because of its luscious fruit. Gift wine.

Dark red. Cherry and black raspberry scents are accompanied by emerging spice and floral accents. Round and subtly sweet, offering juicy red and dark berry and spicecake flavors that deepen steadily through the back half. Closes long and smooth, with repeating spiciness, a hint of licorice and subtle tannic grip. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, February 2022)
