I wanted to break in my new Black & White special edition Riedel ‘Fatto a Mano’ with some nice bubbles that I had never tried before. Leave it to the team at SommSelect to provide just the right solution 👌🏻 This is a yeasty, toasty, dry, and charismatic blend of 64% Pinot Meunier, 33% Chardonnay, and 3% Pinot Noir. With 4 years on the lees, 5,5 g/l dosage, and an April 2017 disgorgement, this selection is the perfect maiden voyage in the new stemware, which captures the expression perfectly. Serving as an excellent hybrid between tulip-shaped flutes and larger format glasses for stills, I’m eager to acquire various others in the collection.
