Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. No formal notes. This is my first experience with the Champagnes of Legras & Haas and I found this quite easy to enjoy. In this instance, it played the role of aperitif and it did very well. It was light on its toes and shoes nice balance of fruit, acid and minerals. Base vintage is 2017…which might have something to do with it coming across a touch lean? Looking forward to trying again. Drink now. Disgorged April of 2022.

2017 base, May 2021 disgorgement, dosage 7.6 g/l, a lot of class, young but quite quaffable. I enjoyed it.
