What a great surprise! I like the name of this wine, and the reason behind it. Black fruits on the nose, a bit of spiciness. On the palate, it has some character with a bit of tannin due to the sunny region but still a nice freshness that balance the whole wine!

Deep red but with a brown rim, this wine has a surprisingly pleasant mid-palate of faecal-matter-in-the-sun, paired with a rich nose reminiscent of burning tyres and that distinctive "open sewer" rusticity that we love in a good Vin de Merde. A must-try next time you're in the south of France and out of money. The Total service station on the A7 at Le Pontet near Avignon carries a good selection across the range.
