Zamo Rosso Red Blend

Solid, quirky and approachable Fruili blend. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Refosco.

Lighter bodied than expected. Creme brûlée and raspberry aroma. Still very tight 3 hours after opening

Meatball wine. Friuli red blends are hard to come by so this will do just fine.

Lots of dark fruit - black cherry, berries, and unsweetened chocolate - clean, dry. Delightful on its own; did not stand up to the food particularly well however.

Eh not horrible but.. I guess this wine would be fine cold on a boat not to much more... Bitter but should be reisling??? Gosh
