Wow. 13. This is very 13. Nose is fresh dark just picked blackberries. Palate is Big spicy blackberry fruit. Fresh so not the stewy kind of blackberry. Internal aromatics are terrific. Graphite. Licorice. Blackberry liquor. A hint of chocolate. So dense it’s almost a solid. Finish is fresh sweet licorice. Very delicious. Density wise very st Joseph (the good stuff like gripa). Amazing this wine is so balanced and Fresh given the year and the density. Very talented winemaker. Bought from fass selections.
