Nose is a bit neutral, maybe some oil? Some mineral. As another commenter said, kind of like a weaker Viognier. It’s got a unique nose for sure. Lemon. Never smelled anything like it. Palate is oily and rich with nice acidity. Earthy and very mineral. No fruit really. This is Italy’s answer the N. Rhone whites. Good concentration. Really dry. We will see if it opens. More interesting than good. But good enough.
UPDATE DAY 2. - this is much better with more juiciness and fruit. Very complex and very delicious. From 8.9 to 9.1.
