v17. Enjoyable..decant a bit. Soft herbal and smoked meat nose. Fresh, bright, black currant and blackberry fruit. Round and dry, slightly tight, zippy.. mocha, black pepper and mineral finish. Very nice food wine.

Dry, jammy red fruits, smooth body, high acid, high tannins, really grips and rips the mouth. Long finish, could open up for hours and really mature and develop. Highly recommend decanting this beauty

A big Amarone. Won wine of the night in tasting. Deep tannins and lots of dark dried fruit. Somewhat one dimensional. 2006.

Deep, rich cassis on a taut frame. Has a slightly raisined edge and still substantial but softened tannins, so has the feel of a wine that hasn't aged really well but needs to age more... Very enjoyable, despite some faults, and really a lush-but-AFWE wine
