Very old vintage from the 1970s as I recall. Surprised it was drinkable and was well past what I consider ideal. While I am generally a big fan of Antinori wines, particularly their Super Tuscans, Italian wine is generally overpriced for what it is. To a large extent, and much as been written in Wine Spectator about this evolution, Italian wine is losing its uniqueness and suffers from high prices and a lack of differentiation.
