This wine seemed a bit limp and lifeless upon opening. After a few days, however, it had perked up a bit. Some floral notes on the nose, along with a bit of candied fruit and spice. On the palate, dark fruit and earth. Medium bodied. 100% Mondeuse. 3/30/23.

Beautiful cherry color on the rim. Sharp rhubarb, ripe cherry, and a hint of shale on the nose. Bright and lively, with a fruit forward cherry note, sun-dried tomato and olive, and moody, darker flavors. Hint of licorice. Nice, clean finish.
