2015v. Dark and inky red. Nose of red plum and dark fruit. On the palette, there's some of that same fruit, with a good amount of acid, and some deep earth and tar underneath. Slight notes of violet? Slowly dissipating tannins with a slight grip. Nothing that will blow your mind but it's a pretty great food wine and is fairly well rounded. 12.5% ABV. Good QPR. Bought from Wegmans for $6!

While it’s not fantastic it’s great bang-for-your-buck bottle. Perfect with casual pizza or a rich pasta dish. The tannins are heavy so I’d leaning towards pairing it with something with significant fat content. I would buy it again, though if it significantly increased in price I would certainly choose something else.

Drinkable but not a huge fan. Did improve the more I let it breath but the smell took away a bit
