Purplish red. A powerful nose with deep, complex aromas, somewhat difficult to quantify however a touch of smoke and spice are notable. A pleasantly acidic palate with soft and ripe tannins, creamy mouth feel. The smoke exists on the palate as well, accompanied by ripe red berries. A rich and flavourful wine (not by any means an average type cab sauv) that is pleasant to drink.
