Dark, it’s a lovely dark red/maroon red wine. Smells like soil, leather and ripe wine grapes in the crusher. Taste is mellow and easy. Nice fruit. Hint of blood orange perhaps. Dry and well balanced. This is a classic, addictive cheaper Rhône. A TJ’s buy again vin.

It has a light leg on your glass but an awesome deep classic dry burgundy taste that finishes like a super expensive bottle. TJ’s for $7 make it a killer value!!

There are better Rhône’s available even at this price.I would not buy for more than $6.99 per bottle, which you can get at Trader Joe’sAs of May, 2020.

Won’t amaze but for a simple wine when you want some pleasant red it’s fine. Improves after opening for a few hours quite dramatically. For an everyday red or emergency back up it’s a good bet to have.
