Lean, fruity, funky, tart. Raspberry vinegar and lemon. Lots of acid but a touch simple.

Beautiful juicy, natural gamay. Strawberries/cherries on the nose, fruity with a complex finish. Almost a slight effervescence on the tongue. Just what I love

Solid lightweight gamay. “Enough” is the theme here. It has enough red fruit. It’s vibrant enough. It’s got enough mineraly goodness. On the simple side and lacking depth of cru Beaujolais. But good for the occasion (first course of our dinner).
