Laurence et Remi Dufaitre
Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau Gamay
It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without some Beaujolais Nouveau...and if you must, like me, you might as well do something a little more interesting like Dufaitre. Loads of bright berries and minerals...but let’s be honest, it’s straight juice, happy juice.

Nov 30th, 2020Pours a red/pink, almost fuchsia color. Smells and tastes just fresh!! Lightly fruity, cranberry and ripe red cherry, with low acid and super low tannin to make it an easy drinking delightful wine! So mad I didn't open this yesterday for Thanksgiving dinner!!!

Nov 28th, 2020Gamay forever. Beaujolais Nouveau 2020. Perfection. SIGHT: a beautiful clear red. SMELL: strawberry candy, tart, toasted yellow cake. TASTE: strawberry candy, a red Squeeze-It, burnt toast and almost ashy taste after it had been open for a bit.
