2014. Nose is all raspberry and cherry with a hint of pinecones. Nice soft texture on the palate while remaining light and high-toned. A pleasantly bitter finish filled with flavors of earthy, forest floor and dried pine needles.

Lots of depth here. Decaying red fruit, animal skin. QPR!

Really solid cru Beaujolais. Nice balance of ripeness and freshness. Good concentration. Pours a medium (-) intensity ruby hue. Nose of perfectly ripe raspberry and strawberry, fresh rose petal, tilled gravel soil, some subtle cola spice, slight herbaceousness and just a touch of animal, bretty character (in a pleasant way). The palate displays focused, mineral intensity, with more cool, juicy raspberry and strawberry fruit, tilled gravel soil, fresh rose petal, and some subtle thyme herbaceousness. Medium (-) body, medium (+) acid, and low to medium (-) tannic intensity. Tasty, tasty. Could probably benefit from a short lil' stint in the cellar for two or three more years.

Carbonic and a little Bretty but with a great fruit-flower expression. Delicious.
