Pure Grand Cru Chardonnay from the famed Chetillons vineyard in le Mesnil sur Oger. Bottled with 4 atmospheres of pressure rather than the standard 6. This is a lean, striking champagne with nice minerality and focus. With distinct elegance, especially at this price point. Almost Chablis like in stages, this is easy drinking but thoughtful as well.
Drama on the attack with restrained acidity and good balance. Chalk and oyster shell on the tongue with a citrus burst. Full bodied with a long, flinty finish. Really nice but drink this over a few days to let it grow.
