Beautiful champagne...especially for the money. Cream soda, minerals and yellow florals on the nose. The palate is; lightly bruised green apple & Bosc pear, citrus, pineapple, cream soda, butterscotch, quince, baguette, fine bubbles, delicate fine chalkiness & mineralogy, enjoyable acidity & long, rich finish. Certainly, one of the better champagnes and value in Champagne. Happy Valentines Day all! ❤🍾

Better than the Billecart Brut. More precision with finer bubbles. Bruised green apple, bruised Bosc pear, citrus blend with strong tangerine presence, dried pineapple, honey, butterscotch, cream soda, citrus blossoms, lilies, baguette, slivered almonds, brilliant acidity & fine powdery chalkiness w/ a long round fresh finish that holds.

Summer udon and electric Blanc de Blancs. When this first landed it seemed a little dilute given the quality of the dirt (mid slope Mesnil, Oger and Cramant), the age of the vines (40+ year massale's) and the quality of the domain. Now that it is sold out, I can see that this was just youthful tightness. This subtle, chalky, dry grand cru will make very great old Champagne.
