This is the first time I’ve been able to purchase their Rosé champagne in the USA. I’ve been curious about it for some time now. It certainly didn’t disappoint. On the nose; lots of pink rose petals, ripe, rich, lightly perfumed; black cherries, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, watermelon near the rhine & notes of citrus. Yeast, baguette crust, nicely understated presence of chalkiness, soft volcanic minerals and red roses. The fruit profile on the palate is closer to Perrier Laurent and the soft razor sharp palate chalkiness is similar to Billecart Salmon Rosé. Ripe, rich, lightly perfumed; black cherries, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, watermelon near the rhine & notes of citrus. Yeast, baguette crust, nice understated presence chalk, saline, sea shells, soft volcanic minerals and lots of pink rose petals and fresh red roses. It’s not going to replace my Billecart Salmon (not sure if we will see more of it allocated to the U.S.) but it’s close. Very nice N/V Rosé Champagne.

100% Estate Pinot Noir rosé from Launois, the masters of Blanc de Blanc? You bet. This is a rare bird, and one you need to seek out if you like rosé Champagne.

The mousse is a little course, but the focus is remarkable.

Romance and desire in a bottle. A pale salmon color with a plethora of pretty little bubbles. The nose is evocative and alluring with typical rosé champagne aromas of soft red fruits and warm brioche rolls.

Pure Pinot Noir from a house famed for Chardonnay and it just works so, so very well. Nice length and a wonderful personality. Just enough tension and drama to keep you more than interested. Strawberries and pears in the mouth, along with a bit of melon and apples. Very nice upon opening but much improved on the second day. Fun, fun stuff.
