With grilled ribeyes tonight. Five years in and its singing. Polished, bright, and elegant. Deep fruit flavors, crisp acids, and an elegant structure. A tasty treat. 13.5% abv

55% grenache, 23% mourvedre, and 22% syrah. The back label talks a lot about bright red fruit, but to get to that fruit you have to go through some smokey, earthy, minerality. With just a hint of heat on the finish, this is a well-made, balanced wine, with great concentration, mouthwatering acid, and a delicious finish. I just wish it had been picked a couple of days earlier. That's a quibble, and the wine is terrific. Great match tonight for my grilled loin lamb chops. 14.9% abv.

Really nice. The Syrah brings some good spice and tar. Looking for a little bit more of that ripe Grenache sparkle to put this over the top. But, all in all, wonderful to drink while live on-air talking to the winemaker...

A little locked down. Maybe too chill. Muted spice nose. Velvety texture with bracing acidity. Long finish. I want it in 3~5 years.

A repeat of my notes below from a month ago, except this bottle is far cooler, no erratic heat. This is delicious.

Nice Syrah spice and tar notes. Expected a bit more Grenache brightness but overall it wears it's 14.9% abv well with just a little heat.
