Giving this a try with 7 years on it. Aging well, oak is finally a little more muted giving way to cedar, sage, mocha, vanilla, and butterscotch. Beautiful expression of Livermore fruit. Balanced acidity. 14.1%

A good cab, not great. Probably laid it down longer that it should have been. Puckery to the palate.

Scored a double gold in the sf chronicle wine competition for the $51-55 cab category. (Frank family and envy cabs got silver)Typical licorice notes found in livermore wines. More cherry with a little blue fruit. Little clunky. Think the reserve was more polished.
