Waited a year on this first vintage to see what would happen. Fresher was better. This has lost some of its complexity. Not bad, but it’s like the volume has been turned down.

So tasty, mouth-watering and juicy but not too sweet

First review of Heimy’s (@Eric Wareheim ) new mad scientist blend of Mourvèdre, Roussanne, Picpoul Blanc, Grenache Noir and Blanc. Rhône gone wild! On first glance it reads like a dark rosé, but the red/white blending brings out both tannic structure / grip, and all sorts of floral and waxy deliciousness.
