Incredibly mellow, a touch of oak, a little smoke, vanilla and raspberry. Maybe a bit beyond its prime, but delicious and easy drinking without being boring. It is a nicely balanced wine with good tannins that make the wine linger on your tongue after the bottle is emptied.
