Red cherries, damp earth, cassis, tinge of oak and vanilla on the nose. Cool and clean in the mouth, silky smooth, concentrated with good acid. Restrained power. Finish is forever. Excellent!

This could’ve benefited from a bit more air, but didn’t get the time it deserved tonight. As it was, the palate offered a mix of black and red fruits over ample acidity (more than I’ve noticed in previous vintages). I think this will age well.

Mmmmmm. Larkmead never fails to deliver. Minerals, minerals, minerals. Smoothed tannins, velvet finish. Drinking amazingly well right now after 1 hour decant. So hard to keep the fruit flies at bay...
