Lansdowne Wines
Super Happy Single Vineyard Chardonnay

It may only be Tuesday, but I have something super happy for you :)
This here is the Lansdowne Wines ‘Super Happy’ 2019 Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills in
South Australia. We ordered a 6-pack online which qualified for their free delivery as we spent over $100 🙌
🟠 Whole brunch pressed
🟠 24 hour natural ferment before being going into matured oak barriques (approx 10% new) where it stayed for 8 months with a little bit of lees stirring
🟠 It got its name because: “While it sat there peacefully maturing away in barrel it narrowly escaped the Cudlee Creek bushfires just down the road. This is a lucky and very happy chardonnay.”
I’d definitely buy this $35 Chardy again 🙌
In the glass it’s a pale yellow with juicy fresh pears, lychee and a hint of vanilla rising from the glass. It’s bright and summery yet shows complexity. Nice and rounded with a gorgeous flow to it. One bottle is definitely not enough!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
