Land of Giants
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
We grabbed this bottle in the Liquorland 'spend over $30 and get one of these for $10' thing they do. We typically always grab one of the wines as a quaffing bottle. This Land of Giants 2016 Sauv Blanc is from Marlborough, NZ and normally retails for about $17.
It's a crisp lemon colour on the eye. On the
nose and palate it's a passionfruit and citrus bomb! Super alive, fresh and easily downed in a matter of minutes. Perfect wine for everyday drinking!
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #tctastingnotes

We picked up this Marlborough Sauv from our local Liquorland for about $15. Both Mr. Spittoon and I really got into our Sauv's again in Vanuatu - being so close to NZ, they have a ton of Kiwi wine over there. And the Sauv's were just so refreshing and easy drinking in the heat.
This 2015 Land of Giants is a pastel yellow colour on the eye. Vibrant passion fruit, flowers and fresh herb rise out of the glass to entice the nose. And on the palate it nearly has a honeyed asparagus and passionfruit flavour to it with citrus and minerality coming through to refresh and balance the wine. A cost-effective mid-afternoon tipple!
