We picked up this vibrant rose from the Lancaster cellar door in the Swan Valley for $18. How could I go past a wine as pretty as this one - actually I wasn't even able to take a photo before it was empty. That's how eager I was!
For me this pink tipple is a bottle full of cherries. It's the colour of maraschino cherries, the nose is reminiscent of vanilla custard over cherries and the palate shines of fresh sweet cherries and strawberries. It's definitely off-dry to semi-sweet which made it a wonderful accompaniment to our cheese board 🍒

Wonderfully fruity with a long lingering palate. Not too sweet or dry, well balanced acidity.
