Vino Bianco Vermentino

This is one of those "holy fuck, where did gravity just go?!" wines. 100% Vermentinu Corso made from a Belgian of Sicilian descent, who returned to his island to grow vines and olives. More olives than vines. Any of which are particularly damn good, especially the Frappato -called Nerocapitano. But barring that wine, this is one of the most compelling versions, and perhaps clones, of Vermentino I have ever tasted. Not as oxidative than the 2013, also seems to have less skin contact, but I'm pretty sure it's only 48 hours, identical to the prior vintage. But its pristine! And senza chemica. The nose and palate transport me to a magical, far away land that I've never visited, but I cannot wait to go there.

Herbaceous aromas and flavors...white pepper. Straw gold color. Clutching structure. Great balance overall

2015 lovely pale gold color. Fresh aromas of apricot, beeswax and citrus peel. Lively on the palate with perfect balance of acid and alcohol. Defined fruit flavors echo the nose. Long. #natural #delicious #stafftasting

Deeeeelicious. Lightly tannic, jasmine and lemon pith; a pretty evolution as it gets to temp.

2010. Candied orange. Herbal. Should have waited longer. Has a long life ahead of it, like a Barolo.

Guess delectable didn't pick up the Rosso on the bottle which was delicious

Really good bottle of this 💪

Took awhile to really open up and shed some of it's more reductive texture and characteristics, but once it did it was lovely, really spectacular.
