This is lovely. Not a typical Napa zin. Cocoa, plums, tons of earth and some minerals. Just a bit of vanilla as well. Hides the high abc well.

Från Bronders källare. Fylligt och mycket smakrikt med mogen frukt. Plommon, svartvinbärsgelé och pastill tillsammans med toner av mynta och lite rökt kött. Avslutar väldigt torrt med kakaopulverliknande tanniner vilken stöttar upp smakerna bra.

Jul 13th, 2020Tasting this after having the zin last night was interesting. Definitely a different style bring on Howell mtn vs. valley floor but made in similar vein. More floral nose and palate is denser and darker with more cocoa. Love tasting small operation Napa zin.

Aug 13th, 2018This is beautiful old school Napa zin. Great fruit, but a lot of tobacco, herbs, cocoa, and long beautiful tannins. Also helps that this purchase supported the Napa fire victims.
