A rich Chardonnay from an excellent vintage in the Hunter Valley. Luscious stone fruit notes on the palate, showing its warm climate origins. Low acid. Mealy. Stylistically not dissimilar to the Shafer Carneros Chardonnay had recently.

In a better place than the last bottle. Dark gold in colour. Vanilla, orange zest, ginger, some preserved lemon and grilled nuts. Still has great acid and a long finish. Drink up.
