Berry and jam on the nose. But this Zin is very complex with vanilla/chocolate, a bramble like mix of herbal notes bordering on tobacco, and dark fruit in the background. I really didn't think I was drinking a Zin, but rather a Cabernet Franc. A very unusual Zin, 15% abv.
