Mount Veeder Malbec

Thinking about all those in the Napa fire area. This 2012 Malbec is beautiful. Our thought are with all on Mt. Veeder and the fire areas.

Purple tinted hue. Lovely light fleeting nuanced aromatics.....floral and tart fruit. Palette is tasty, not dense, still mid weight but rose and red fruit dominate. Excellent mouth watering finish. Let's hope all Cali Malbec reaches these heights.

I think I can safely say I can count on one hand the number of Malbecs that I've really enjoyed from California.. This is definitely one of them..

Very nice! Structure is strong. This will last a long time. Can't wait to try in 5, 10 and 15 years

Berries, cherries, mild smoke and tannic. Perfect with our steaks. Had Jan 28th at David Burke restaurant at Foxwoods.

Malbec? In America ? On a Tuesday? Yup. Great wine.

I really like this and I'm trying to figure out if it's fucked up that I might like their malbecs more than I like their syrahs.

Very dark in color, jammy aroma, not too intense in acidity and spiciness. Nice!
