Happy #WorldWhiskeyDay. Light amber in appearance. Nose with oiled notes of stone fruits, a bit of sweetness and raw banana. A lot sweeter than the 8 year with s boy of sliced in the finish.

Special edition Lanister house GOT...we compared this side by side the 16 yr lagavulin and though it wasn’t nearly as good as the 16 it has a nice rich intensity I liked. You don’t get the same baking spiced and Carmel richness and the 16 is slightly sweeter but the 9 has a nice Smokey muscularity. Prob not worth the price but it was good.
