Random Pinot purchase around the $20 price point ($21 to be exact).
This has just enough balance and what everyone is looking for in a pinot noir. Medium body and enough fruit up front but is balanced out by some leather and earth.

Needs cheese or something creamy. Not offensive but not particularly exciting.

Medium amber color in the glass. Interesting nose that starts off slightly funky with more typical Pinot characteristics of black cherry, strawberries, along with nutmeg. This wine started off fairly unimpressive on the first night. The word for it was flab. Lots of fruit and mostly basic. However, on the second day the fruit came alive even more so. It’s much more of a real Pinot after that time had passed. For the price, this is an absolute winner.

This is s Wow wine, had no expectations for it. Pure structured earthy, clove, allspice cherry and orange peel and cranberry. Lingers forever. Supple and lithe but full of flavor. Very impressive especially at its price point.
